Would You Believe – A 73% Increase in Combine Sales for October

You heard it right – a 73% increase in combine sales in October 2021 compared with 2020! Combines with headers are about a million dollars a pop. Year-to-date figures show 2WD tractors through October, increasing by 11.3%; 4WD tractors increased by 20.3%; and combines 24.4%.

Not much more to say, but we’ll say it anyway – it’s good to be an equipment dealer these days. With numbers like these, they don’t even need to train their sales people – who can simply take orders. (We’re being a bit facetious, but you get the point.) Farmers/ranchers have the money and they are spending. Are you getting your share of wallet? If not, you need to ask why. The 2021 net farm income is going to be near a record. Farmers/ranchers like new trucks and statistics back that statement. Between your status as a CAD member and the availability of AgPack, there are no excuses for not having farmers/ranchers lining up at your door. It’s encouraging to hear that many of you are beginning to receive inventory. Keep in mind that farmers/ranchers will be your best prospects!
