The makers of the SPAM brand say they created the new flavored variety following an outpouring of fan-developed recipes and consumer insights and feedback.

Hormel, the makers of SPAM, announced the introduction of SPAM maple flavored, bringing the brand’s family of varieties to 11 flavors. Hormel claims SPAM maple flavored ushers in a unique and mouthwatering addition to breakfast menus, outdoor barbeques and one-of-a-kind desserts.

Where were all of these flavors for SPAM when I was growing up! Back in the day there was only one option, and my mother always fried it to “crisp” in her cast iron skillet.
