Helman says the inventory of used compact and utility tractors increased faster than higher-horsepower farm tractors. He encourages farm equipment sellers to monitor changing trends in the spring market.
Sandhills Global data says February farm equipment inventory levels were up 2.78% over January and 15.99% over February of 2022. They also report asking price values remained strong with values up more than 11% from a year ago. Auction values dipped from January but were up almost 9% from a year ago.
