CAD Attends NCBA Trade Show and Meeting in Houston

Texas hosted thousands of cattle industry leaders for the National Cattlemen's Beef Association (NCBA) Annual Trade Show and Meeting in Houston. Thousands were in attendance at the 2022 event, including our very own CAD team, which was held at the George R. Brown Convention Center, February 1-3.

NCBA reported there were nearly 10 acres of trade show for attendees to experience this year. New equipment, the latest in technology, pharmaceuticals and live cattle handling demonstrations all took place during the event. In addition, this year, the Learning Lounge was available for educational presentations of importance to those in the cattle business.  Cattlemen's College was focused on business resources to help producers in the areas of risk management, health, genetics, nutrition, conservation and profitability.

The convention has long been known as a great place to network with others in the cattle business, both from the U.S. and around the world.

The cattle industry comprises a huge footprint in American agriculture. Most cattle producers belong to NCBA. Their convention draws representatives from across the vertical cattle industry and the suppliers who support the cattle producers. NCBA has a great deal of political influence in state capitals and Washington, DC and are a force to be reckoned with on ag policy. For all those reasons and more, your CAD team was well represented at this year’s NCBA convention. They promoted the CAD program and the AgPack program to all the cattle producers in attendance! Might be a great time for you to reach out to cattle producers/ranchers in your area and remind them that you’re a CAD member who offers AgPack.
