“America’s Story” 250th Birthday Tour a Hit with Ag Groups

To celebrate and honor the upcoming 250th birthday of the American Story, "America's Storyteller" Jeff Gould is embarking on a nationwide tour to interested cities, celebrations and festivals.
The long-time award-winning broadcaster and storyteller is offering the 50-minute presentation that has been described as "a combination of Ken Burns meets Garrison Keillor," to audiences of all ages and sizes.
"We've had a chance to perform it a number of different places, including Mount Rushmore," says, Bob Uecker, Tour Manager "and we think it deserves a broader audience."
The non-political presentation is both historical and inspirational. "By using pictures, music and stories, we unite audiences by reminding them of the inherited gifts all Americans share: Fairness, Dreams, Sacrifice, Equality, Generosity, Providence, Desire and Optimism."
The story is especially well-received by those in Agriculture and Agri-business. "The fact is, the success of American Agriculture has changed history and has made America the most prosperous of all nations, something we want to recognize and celebrate."
Interested people can apply to the America's Story non-profit organization to book a date, find out technical needs or apply for financial help.
"It's too important a story to ignore," says Gould. "Thousands of years from now, the story we are each blessed to be a part of today, will still be described as the most remarkable story of nations ever told."

EDITOR’S TAKE:
You might want to take advantage of this opportunity to share something with America’s Story 250 about your business and how you relate to agriculture, perhaps feature your community or it’s rural roots and invite some farmers or ranchers to share their history, as well. This could be a perfect way to tell the story of what makes America the great country it has become. It is also a piece of our recorded history that could be shared for decades to come. By the way, be sure to mention how CAD has brought your dealership and your community closer to the farmers and ranchers in the area. It’s an exciting undertaking for America’s next really big birthday!
