Tractor Supply, National 4-H Celebrate Paper Clover Campaign Raising $25 Million

A fifteen-year partnership between the National 4-H Council and Tractor Supply Company has raised more than $25 million to support local 4-H programs nationwide.

Jill Bramble, President and CEO of the National 4-H Council, says the Paper Clover campaign helps fund new learning experiences for ag youth.

“We are really unlocking the ideas, their innovations that they have, and their entrepreneurism,” she says. “When we invest in them, we give them opportunities to build their skills so that they are beyond ready for work and life.”

The initiative is a biannual fundraiser that allows customers to purchase a paper clover at checkout in all Tractor Supply stores in the U.S. or online.

John Ordus, Chief Stores Officer for Tractor Supply Company, says 90 percent of all donations made go directly to the community in which they were made. 

“For us it’s about those rural communities that we’re able to be a part of,” he says. “We want to continue to invest in those and continue to watch them grow. When you watch the youth of 4-H, you’re able to see the impact that it has on ag youth. We want to continue to help support that.”

The organizations say they plan to continue to expand the Paper Clover campaign to help National 4-H reach their goal of 10 million members by 2030.
